Writing Prize

Congratulations to our winners

The winner of the Outstanding Contribution to Undergraduate Bioethics prize for our Neuroethics Issue (Vol. IV, Issue ii) is Courtney Boeff of the College of St. Catherinefor her article entitled "The Ethical Considerations of Nootropic Drugs: Memory Boom or Drug Bust?"

And congratulations to our runners up, Janitza Montalvo-Ortiz and Sheheryar Kabraji.

In collaboration with PBJ, the Neuroethics Society and CURF supported a writing prize for this issue of the journal. Nominations were given by the PBJ editorial board, and the winner and runners up were selected by a committee of Neuroethics Society members.

We are now accepting submissions for our next issue of PBJ, Volume V, Issue i. Note that the deadline to submit articles for PBJ's Volume V, Issue i is October 15th, 2008 at 11:59 pm. A cash prize for the best submission will be offered. Submitted papers on all bioethics-related topics will be considered.
